PIKON Deutschland AG

Founded on 1 April 1996 by the current directors Jörg Hofmann and Jochen Scheibler, the German consultancy company PIKON (Prozessorientierte Informationskonzepte) GmbH based in Saarbrücken is the core of PIKON International Consulting Group.

Today, PIKON International Consulting Group employs more than 50 professionals. After the initial phase, the company was able to take advantage of the favourable peripheral conditions and record a considerable growth rate. In addition to standard SAP consulting (both founders previously worked as consultants for IDS Scheer), the development area was soon established as a further pillar. Investments in IT Systems (PIKON possess a system of their own) and office premises became essential preconditions for continual corporate growth.

Most importantly, PIKON has managed to recruit enthusiastic and talented employees. As early as 1998, PIKON started concentrating on Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). A little later, PIKON opened up to Business Warehouse. Today, the group's business activities comprise of both areas. The first contact with John Frijns was established during a joint customer project. Shortly after, both PIKON Belgium and the umbrella organisation PIKON International Consulting Group were founded.

A major milestone in our history was the change of the corporate name and legal status of PIKON GmbH to PIKON Deutschland AG in 2001. The objective of this new legal structure was the active participation of the staff members. This concept has since proved to be an essential part of PIKON's successful strategy.

Due to continuous corporate growth, the business structure of PIKON Deutschland AG was modified in 2005. As a result, the business areas of ERP, Business Intelligence and Business Integration were established and the internal departments of Accounting, IT and Sales/ Marketing were also formed.

Since January 2008, PIKON International Consulting GmbH has had a presence in Great Britain with PIKON UK Ltd. Before this branch was formed, Managing Director Timo Burkard worked for many years as a Senior Consultant at PIKON Deutschland AG.

PIKON Deutschland AG is an SAP Service Partner and has been designated as a Special Expertise Partner in the area of SAP Financials.
