A flexible software tool allows for the first time the acquisition and creation of texts of different lengths in production orders for SAP ERP 6.0

In the illustration of business processes in an integrated ERP system such as SAP, essential information can be forwarded from upstream departments. However, the data that are forwarded in this process are often not sufficient. Important additional information can be collected in the form of long texts at different points in the system. In particular the forwarding of these texts is technically difficult in terms of data and this is frequently not fully integrated in the system.

In the manufacturing field in particular, it frequently happens that relevant information is present in different texts at different points. Particular client requirements such as label,  colour, packaging, individual barcodes and the like may have been taken from the customer's order or the master material may contain references from the construction in the form of a long text. All these long texts associated with the order are now transmitted using FAUF text across departmental boundaries. Furthermore FAUF text allows the creation of additional long texts in the production order itself (In the SAP standard only a long text is available). All texts are clearly displayed on their own tab.

FAUF text requires SAP ERP 6.0. All further technical fundamentals can be created within approximately an hour. The specific customising settings can be carried out by your company itself using detailed documentation. Of course, on request, PIKON will also carry out all implementation activities for you.
