Successful SAP ERP migration at Oevermann

"High-level construction" - that is the motto of the German construction company OEVERMANN who have implemented advanced construction projects for more than 100 years now together with 1,000 employees.

The Oevermann group belongs to the Dutch stock market listed construction enterprise Heijmans N.V. Alongside its head office in Münster (Germany) Oevermann has  branches in Düsseldorf, Gütersloh, Osnabrück, Düren, Koblenz, Leipzig/Halle, Halberstadt, Berlin and Eisenhüttenstadt.

On 1st June 2011 Oevermann went live with SAP ERP New General Ledger. The company had been using SAP ERP Release 4.7 for a long time, however, due to the required parallel IFRS reporting, Oevermann decided to migrate to ERP 6.0.4. with the New GL. Furthermore, the  improvements that were available in the new release with regard to payment chains and intercompany cost allocations were very important.

At the end of June, PIKON, together with the Oevermann project team, celebrated the successful and intensive migration.
