The previous app has been removed as part of the release. At a glance, users can see:<\/p><ul><li>which materials are becoming critical,<\/li><li>which production orders are at risk,<\/li><li>which actions should be prioritised.<\/li><\/ul><p>In addition, numerous filtering and selection options are available, including current stock levels, MRP controller, safety stock and other planning related key figures. The objective is to:<\/p><ul><li>reduce machine setup times<\/li><li>improve machine utilisation<\/li><li>simplify production planning<\/li><li>use production resources more efficiently<\/li><\/ul><p>The functionality supports both <strong>Make to Stock<\/strong> and <strong>Make to Order<\/strong> scenarios and is accessed directly within the Manage Production Orders app.<\/p><p>Another key innovation is the <strong>Production Planning and Operations Agent<\/strong>. Using a new Release button, production orders can now be released with the support of agentic AI.<\/p><p>The AI agent automatically performs a range of checks, including:<\/p><ul><li>material availability<\/li><li>alternative components<\/li><li>work centre capacity<\/li><li>rescheduling recommendations if release requirements are not fulfilled<\/li><\/ul><p>AI supported production order release was introduced with Release 2602. However, the functionality is not available by default.
