SAP S/4HANA – the new real-time suite

S/4HANA is the latest generation of SAP products and is one of the most modern ERP systems. It is the digital backbone of a company. S stands for simple, 4 for the fourth product generation and HANA refers to the underlying database technology. Compared to its predecessors, S/4HANA is distinguished by a combination of in-memory technology and simplified structures, allowing data to be retrieved and processed in real time. It allows for better performance. S/4HANA can be run both from the cloud and on premise.

Due to the official end in maintenance for SAP ECC, there is time to switch to the new system until 2027.
