For PIKON, sustainable growth means much more than growing our business. It means creating an environment where our people can develop and thrive, contributing to the communities around us, and reducing the environmental impact of the way we work.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities therefore focus on three areas:
For many years, PIKON has been organising Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities together with our German office in Saarbrücken. A special part of this is the involvement of our new employees. As part of the “Nigel Challenge,” they choose a social project to support and contribute to it personally. This benefits the community and strengthens team spirit within PIKON at the same time. Here are some of the activities we have organized and supported.
Volunteering, donating office materials and supporting the shelter.
Clothing collection to support people in need in our local community.
Our colleagues joined forces to clean up the area around the office.
PIKON came together to plant trees as a small but meaningful step towards a greener and more sustainable future.
As part of our CSR efforts, our team prepared and donated pencil cases filled with essential school supplies to Sint-Vincentius, helping local children start the school year feeling prepared and supported.
Together, these initiatives show how PIKON wants to support people and communities through engagement, solidarity, and practical action.
Environment
Reducing our environmental impact is an important part of how we take responsibility as a company. At PIKON, we want to create a workplace where sustainability is not just an ambition, but something we translate into practical choices and everyday actions. In 2021, we established a dedicated team to better understand our carbon footprint, identify opportunities for improvement and embed sustainability more firmly into our CSR approach. Since then, we have focused on areas where we can make a tangible difference: from energy consumption and mobility to business travel and the responsible use of resources.
Our office building uses solar panels to cover its full electricity needs, with surplus energy fed back into the grid. Charging stations support our transition towards a fully electric company fleet, with all new company cars now being fully electric.
Sustainability is also part of how we work every day. Through digital processes and a paperless office approach, we reduce resource consumption while creating a modern, efficient and future-oriented workplace for our colleagues.
People
Our people are at the heart of PIKON. We believe sustainable growth starts with creating an environment where people can develop professionally, feel supported and enjoy what they do. That’s why we invest in continuous learning, wellbeing, flexibility and an inclusive workplace.

In the coming years, we will continue to build on our CSR efforts by:

- Reducing our environmental impact by further transitioning our company fleet towards electric mobility and expanding the use of renewable energy at our offices.
- Investing in our people by continuing to focus on professional development, wellbeing, flexibility and an inclusive working environment.
- Looking for new opportunities to contribute, both through financial and material support and by putting our professional expertise to good use.
Corporate Social Responsibility is an ongoing journey. As PIKON continues to grow, we want our positive contribution to the people and communities around us to grow with us.
