Design and implementation of the SAP system in cooperation with PIKON partner FAS AG
Together with our partner FAS AG, we completely rebuilt the SAP system (modules FI, CO, SD, MM, PS) for Germany, UK and USA. In the process, interfaces to medical pre-systems (for the administration of stem cell donors and the organisation of stem cell donations) as well as Salesforce had to be designed and implemented. The accounting system was converted to a leading IFRS valuation in order to ensure worldwide harmonized reporting. Since the successful go-live, PIKON has also been responsible for hosting the SAP systems (via our partner TakeASP) and provides SAP ERP application support.
About “ DKMS gemeinnützige gGmbH”
DKMS gemeinnützige GmbH seeks and connects stem cell donors for people with leukaemia and other diseases of the haematopoietic system. With more than 7 million people registered worldwide and more than 63,000 stem cell transplants made possible, it is the largest international stem cell donor database. With the aim of collectively saving even more lives, DKMS has been increasingly involved in research since 2013 and is also expanding its work to other countries. To date, in addition to its sites in Germany, it is also represented in the USA, Poland, Spain and Great Britain. More international sites are in the pipeline.
